TERMS OF SERVICE
GENERAL
- Do not use my work in AI or cryptocurrency-based transactions. I will decline any commission with the intentions of turning my work into NFTs or AI art generation projects.
- Prices are subject to change due to supply and demand or complexity of your request.
- I reserve the right to decline/refund your commission request at any time.
PAYMENTS
- Full payment is made upfront. Under certain circumstances, the buyer can split their payment for 50% before production and 50% after a work in progress has been sent over for approval.
PROCESS & DELIVERY
- Turn around time varies. It can take 1 week up to several months depending on complexity, health, technological issues, or how hefty my commission queue is.
- My queue is on a first come first serve basis. If it is dire that you receive your commission by a certain deadline, please let me know 2 weeks in advance so I can move you to the front of the queue. Rush jobs may see increase in price.
- Commissioners will receive the high resolution files + PSDs if asked for. All products are delivered digitally. There will not be any physical products shipped out under normal circumstances.
REVISIONS
- All commissions come with 3 revisions at base. Any more revisions after that will require a fee.
- The only time a revision fee will not be necessary is if I myself have made an error in communication.
- Please be clear about what revisions need to be made to prevent extra charges. I promise you, you're not being rude!
COPYRIGHT
i, rykitsu (the artist):
- I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
- I will NOT claim the intellectual property of the commissioned work. In other words, no characters or likenesses used in the commission will be taken.
- I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you, the commissioner, break any of the terms.
- I reserve the right to post the commissioned work online, add it to my portfolio, as well as insert it in publications such as zines and art books. If you, the commissioner, wish to not be referenced in any posts regarding the commission, let me know in advance!you (the commissioner):
- You may upload the commissioned artwork(s) on any website/social media with proper credit given.
- You retain the rights to the intellectual property used.
- You may NOT alter the commissioned work without my consent first.
- You may NOT profit from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, making prints or merchandise, etc.) without first purchasing a commercial license from me.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
- If you cancel your commission before I start working on it, you can get a full refund.
- If I cannot do your commission, you will receive a full refund.
- You CANNOT request a refund once the commission is finished.
COMMUNICATION
- All commissioners are welcome and encouraged to reach out via email, twitter, or discord in regards to updates or changes. I do, however, request that there be understanding in situations where replies may be slow due to me having a full time job outside of freelancing!
